Accessibility Statement

At Down Syndrome Limerick we aim to provide a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are continually working to increase the accessibility of our website and to adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines. If you have any comments please contact us and we’ll do our best to help you. You can contact info@downsyndromelimerick.ie.

Web accessibility refers to the inclusive practice of removing barriers that prevent interaction with, or access to websites, by people with disabilities. We strive to provide all users with equal access to information and functionality.  For this reason, we have a WP Accessibility Helper available on our website.  This helps with accessibility problems like font size, contrast, titles and aria-label tags, images alt and much more.

Please use the Accessibility Helper Sidebar located at the top right of each of our webpages to change settings to adjust to your needs or to suit your preferences.

PDF documents

The website makes many documents available for you to download. Most of these are Adobe PDF documents, and you will need Adobe’s Acrobat reader to open these. You can download it from the Adobe website.
