SUMMARY:Advanced Numicon
DESCRIPTION:This event is restricted to Parents and Teachers/SNAs of Members only until May 7th. After May 7th\, event is open to parents and teachers/SNAs from other branches. \nNumicon: Is a multi-sensory approach to children’s mathematical learning.  It emphasises three key aspects of doing math: communicating mathematically\, exploring relationships and generalising (solving everyday life experiences).  The numicon system of shapes is a structured approach that aids a concrete\, visual approach to learning math.  It is based on the CPA Approach and the studies of Piaget\, Vygotsky and Bruner.
