DESCRIPTION:Paediatric First Aid – Saturday 19th October – in person  \nThis is an in-person session which covers the following topics: \n\nWhat is Paediatric First Aid (Regulations\, Obligations)\,\nHow to call emergency services\,\nBrief introduction to circulation wounds and bleeding\, Management of nose bleeds etc\, Application of dressings to wounds\,\nManagement of heart attack\, Introduction to Infant and Paediatric CPR\,\nManagement of choking casualty – Management of unconscious casualty – recovery position\,\nRecognition & First Response to Sprains / Fractures\,\nAsthma Awareness\, Epilepsy Awareness\, Anaphylaxis\,\nManagement of burns and application of burns dressings.\n\nTraining will be held in Optima Training (in Castletroy Business Park\, near DSL). \nThe Training is Free but Booking is essential. Class size is limited to 12. \nThese Events are made possibly through the support of the Department of Children\, Equality\, Disability\, Integration and Equality & Supporting Parents
