SUMMARY:Series of Workshops on Mealtime Challenges
DESCRIPTION:Members Only \nDSL are pleased to offer a series of 3 online Workshops for parents/guardians over the coming 3 months providing guidance and strategies for Mealtime Challenges.  Teresa Foley\, Occupational Therapist\, will be presenting these workshops on \n\nUnderstanding feeding challenges in children with Down Syndrome\nCreating joyful mealtime routines\nCreative ways to increase variety and amount of food eaten by your child\n\nDates and Times: February 25 \, March 25 and April 29 from 7.30pm to 9pm each evening (to include the Talk and a Q & A) \nTeresa qualified as an occupational therapist in 2008 and is Principal Occupational Therapist at Shooting Stars Occupational Therapy.  Teresa is qualified in many areas.  She has worked as a National Specialist feeding therapist for years.  She worked with a team to establish therapy services for children with Avoidant & Restricive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID).  She is also trained in Sensory Integration\, and Autism diagnosis (ADOS training). In addition\, Teresa is a Lactation Consultant and a Licensed Sleep Practitioner and helps families of neurodiverse children. \nPlaces are Limited: Please book to secure your place and receive the link to the Workshops \nThe Workshops are free thanks to the support of  the Department of Children\, Equality\, Disability\, Integration and Youth via the Parent Peer Support Fund \n
