World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) is on Monday, March 21 this year and we would love you to help us raise awareness of Down Syndrome by wearing odd socks! It is an annual fun and visual way of showing that difference is OK.
Whether you are a family, Creche, Pre-School, School, Training Centre, Workplace, Shop, Cafe or Sports or Community Group, Library, Nursing Home or Public Representative please “Rock Your Socks” for Down Syndrome Limerick on or near March 21.
This year the World Down Syndrome Day Theme is Inclusion and we at Down Syndrome Limerick would love to know what Inclusion means to you? March 21 is a great day to highlight inclusion and start a conversation wherever you are.
Remember to share your event /photo of Odd Socks with us on social media using the #InclusionAtEveryAge, #InclusionMeans and #Support4DSL (DSL =Down Syndrome Limerick).
We have lots of resources we are happy to share with you, just email us requesting same; info@downsyndromelimerick.ie
