FMS support Tour de Munster and Down syndrome
The Tour de Munster is now in its 22nd year. From 4th August, over 100 cyclists will pedal over 600km for 4 days around the 6 counties of Munster. The Tour de Munster has been raising funds for the Munster branches of Down Syndrome Ireland for the last 12 years. To date almost €4 million has been raised for charities as well as raise awareness of the vital work that they do. Each year companies very kindly sponsor and support the event. Formula Management Systems is one such company that is supporting people with Down syndrome in Limerick.
Formula Management Systems
Formula Management Systems Ltd commenced business in March 2006. They are a sister company of Glenstal Foods Ltd, also a sponsor of Tour de Munster, and were originally based in Murroe, Co. Limerick. In 2020 due to further growth they acquired a larger premises in Rathkeale, Co. Limerick. After extensive refurbishments, production in Rathkeale commenced in September 2021. Their facility in Limerick is a designated Category 3 facility and all production is exclusively destined for the animal feed industry. Product traceability and security are of key importance when dealing with Category 3 product and they guarantee both to their suppliers and customers alike.

The Tour de Munster is a fantastic fundraiser that has been a part of the Munster community for a long time and contributes greatly to Down Syndrome Limerick to help them keep their services going”.
