The Pharmacy Store continues their care with supporting the Tour de Munster

The Pharmacy Store continue their caring ethos by supporting the Tour de Munster and Down syndrome

The Tour de Munster is now in its 22nd year.  From 4th August, over 100 cyclists will pedal over 600km for 4 days around the 6 counties of Munster.  The Tour de Munster has been raising funds for the Munster branches of Down Syndrome Ireland for the last 12 years.  To date almost €4 million has been raised for charities as well as raise awareness of the vital work that they do.  Each year companies very kindly sponsor the jerseys for the event.  Pharmacy Store is one such company that is supporting people with Down syndrome in Limerick.

Pharmacy Store

PharmacyStore.ie is an online pharmacy that was established in 2012. From the outset it has always been their aim to provide all their customers and patients with the highest standards of healthcare and customer service. Their relationship with their Customers has been built on this foundation and they strive to grow and strengthen these relationships every day, ensuring every need and requirement is met and exceeded. The Pharmacy Store have 4 pharmacies – Newcastle West, Roxboro, Woodview in Limerick and Ballycasey in Shannon.  Rory Keating, Managing Director, has been supporting the Tour de Munster for many years as a cyclist and has further contributed to the Tour as a jersey sponsorship as well as his involvement in many other fundraisers in Down Syndrome Limerick.

Rory Keating, Managing Director of the Pharmacy Store says,

“I look forward to participating in the Tour de Munster every year.  By far my greatest memories of the event are stopping in all the local Down syndrome branches enroute where we met people with Down Syndrome and their families. We meet some really great people along the route and we can see first hand the benefit that the much needed funds raised by TdeM has in helping individuals reach their full potential.  We’re delighted to support this worthy cause”.

Ellen Tuffy, Chairperson of Down Syndrome Limerick says,

“We are so grateful to Rory for his continued commitment to our charity – as a cyclist and as a sponsor. His generosity goes beyond the Tour de Munster as well with his involvement in other events like our Three Counties Cycle.  We look forward to seeing Rory and all of the cyclists in Limerick again this year to thank them for the great work that they are doing in supporting us and raising awareness”.
