Now in it’s 21st year, the Tour de Munster, will once again complete over 600km throughout the 6 counties of Munster, raising funds and awareness for Down Syndrome Limerick and the neighbouring Munster branches. Each year local companies very kindly sponsor the jerseys for the event. And we are delighted to showcase those local businesses this week.
Fun Stuff Ireland:
www.funstuff.ie is an online business that has been operating for over 10 years in the Irish and UK market.
They specialise in the sale of children’s ride on vehicles (both pedal and electric). They also sell outdoor toys, playhouses and garden furniture. They have supplied the toys for the ride on section of the Late Late Toy Show for the past 3 years and donated to local children’s hospitals. Fun Stuff Ireland are a proud sponsor of this years Tour de Munster.
Gerry Mullane of Fun Stuff Ireland says,
“It’s a fantastic cause. My clubmates speak very highly of the work that DSL does and say it the best organised event they have ever attended. Have been fortunate enough to visit both the Limerick and Tipperary branches to see the trojan work that is being done”.
Ellen Tuffy, Chairperson of Down Syndrome Limerick says,
“We are so appreciative of the support from Fun Stuff Ireland this year. Gerry is also a cyclist in the Tour de Munster so it putting in a huge personal effort as well as fundraising himself. The Tour de Munster is a very special event for us. It gives us the opportunity to raise awareness of Down syndrome and of course it is instrumental in helping us to keep our services going through the money raised. Having businesses involved in this support means so much to us”.
