Tour de Munster Sponsor Spotlight: Pharmacy Store

Now in it’s 21st year, the Tour de Munster, will once again complete over 600km throughout the 6 counties of Munster, raising funds and awareness for Down Syndrome Limerick and the neighbouring Munster branches. Each year local companies very kindly sponsor the jerseys for the event.  And we are delighted to showcase those local businesses this week.

Pharmacy Store

PharmacyStore.ie is an online pharmacy that was established in 2012. From the outset it has always been their aim to provide all their customers and patients with the highest standards of healthcare and customer service. Their relationship with their Customers has been built on this foundation and they strive to grow and strengthen these relationships every day, ensuring every need and requirement is met and exceeded. Customers can expect the very same level of customer care from their on-line Pharmacy as they would in any of their three Pharmacies, Daarwood Pharmacy in Newcastle West, Southside Pharmacy in Roxboro and Ballycasey Pharmacy in Shannon.

Rory Keating, Managing Director of the Pharmacy Store says,

“I look forward to participating in the Tour de Munster every year; my first TdeM was in 2014. Prior to my first TdeM in 2014 two friends of mine, Conor O’Dea and Richard Walsh had mentioned the TdeM to me on numerous occasions detailing not just the event itself but the great cause that it raises much needed funds for, the local Down syndrome branches. So in 2014 I registered an interest with Paul Sheridan to participate, Conor and Richard vouched for me, I completed the Tough Tipp in advance of the TdeM cycle so I was in.

I  thoroughly enjoyed the TdeM in 2014; the cycling was tough; the event was extremely well run by Paul but by far my greatest memories of the event were stopping in all the local DS centres enroute where we met people with Down Syndrome and their families. We met some really great people along the route and we could see first hand the benefit that the much needed funds raised by TdeM had in helping individuals reach their full potential and how appreciative everyone was. I was hooked and I have done the event everyone year since”.

Ellen Tuffy, Chairperson of Down Syndrome Limerick says,

“Rory has been involved as a cyclist in the Tour for many years and has been a great support to our charity.  We are delighted to have Pharmacystore.ie on board this year as an official jersey sponsor for the Tour de Munster.  These funds help us to keep our vital services running for children and adults with Down syndrome.  We are so grateful for the support”.
